Monkey Tree Holiday Park is an award-winning Touring, Camping and Caravan Park based in Newquay. They wanted to improve the customer service experience of their customers while reducing the amount of administration for their staff.
It was apparent that errors were creeping in where the existing system was complex to use and tied to a few computers at the park.
Park Manager Helena Ellery identified that the functionality of the system along with its ease of use and a high level of support were important. Ability to access the system anywhere on the park, the elimination of double entry, and flexibility of holiday pricing were among the key features investigated.
Helena selected GemaPark as the new booking management system and found that it was much easier for the staff to use. Reception staff were able to manage bookings and customer enquiries with greater proficiency. As a cloud solution online and walk-in bookings are taken from the same live availability reducing the chance of errors and the need for double entry.
